Serendipity

As I look back on my life,
the accidental encounters
and the intersections of my life,
with a unique array of characters -
I recognize serendipity played a major role
in it's existence.
One moment has led to the next
and losing my fear of expressing my desires
enables me to get closer to my dream.
Even looking up the the word "serendipity"
has opened my mind to a new word
that I love; sagacious.
Having keen mental discernment
and good judgment at this point of my life,
makes all the difference in what I experience.
There are good days and bad....
this will never change.
However, my perception and attitude
make the difference in how the bad days,
will effect my being.
