Live in the Present

Sometimes I just need to take a breath.

Yes, it can be complicated.

Yes, it can feel stressful.

And yes, this is life.

In the moments I feel a bit overwhelmed,

I think of my ancestors,

and what life must have felt for them.

I'm sure it was complicated then, 

but the moral of the story is -

newer generations are here now.

The point is…life goes on.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed, 

yesterday is already gone…

the fact that we live in the present,

the sign resides there…

It is a present to live,

so why not make the best of it?
