Never Left My Side / Nunca Ha Dejado Mi Lado

It's been another year,

many lessons have been  learned.

I see all the presents
under the Christmas tree...

and one that isn't wrapped.

One overlooked at times,

but it's the glue to everything.

In the days of difficulties,

in days of great joy...

this gift is present.

When the eye doesn't see it,

undoubtably, this feeling is there.

This year, I recognize this brilliance...

for health, family, friends…

Otro año ha pasado,

muchas lecciones han sido aprendidas.

Veo todo los regalos 

debajo del árbol de navidad,

y veo uno sin haber sido envuelto. 

A veces, uno que es pasado por alto,

pero es el centro de todo.

En dias de dificultadas,

en dias de alegria...

este regalo esta presente.

Cuando los ojos no lo ven,

indudablemente, el sentimiento esta allí.

Este año, reconozco su brillo.
