For a brief moment,
I look to the past,
and realize how
our bond did not last.
Life has evolved
in such a way,
things just get better
day by day.
My heart is filled
with what is true love,
one that is genuine
and hard to speak of.
I've entered in
a sacred place -
it now guides me,
it is my base.
Life has a way,
of morphing bad to good,
love has changed me -
as only love could.
