Gift / Regalo

Walking down the path,

with the purest thoughts and aspirations,

things still can get dark.

This moment is a test,

to see how much I will endure, 

and whether or not I will break.

I simply can't…

not now, not after almost losing my life.

It's all a gift - including the tears…

And it won't take time to understand this,

I see the gift today.

Caminando por el sendero,

con pensamientos y aspiraciones puros,

las cosas todavía pueden verse oscuras. 

Este momento es una prueba,

a ver cuanto puedo tolerar,

y  ver si voy a quebrantarme.

Simplemente,no puedo….

no ahora, no después de casi perder mi vida.

Todo es regalo - hasta la lágrimas…

Y no tomaré tiempo para entenderlo,

veo el regalo hoy.
