Try Becomes Change

I am going to stretch my right leg,
but I already know the result.
I'm inflexible in my right leg...
I've been inflexible since I was a child.
I won't be able to stretch much.
The question I pose to myself,
is my mind somehow holding back
a potential breakthrough,
even from something as small as streching?
What else am I holding back from?
If I keep repeating the same message,
it must be because I believe it.
What if I want it to change?
I have to change the rhetoric
and try, try, try, until
try becomes change.
Change is in the mind…
I see the same thought,
and am ready for it to change.
