Difficulty

A lot that can hold me back -

if I choose.

But I don't…I can't.

One foot in front of the other,

I face the difficulties and realize,

they're lessons in life.

My character continues to develop.

My foundation grows stronger

and perseverance and clarity 

are deeply embedded in my core.

Difficulty is only as difficult,

as I let it be.
